Oxbow Lake Markers
On Sunday, July 17th, 2018 members of your Association replaced five (5) of the private lake markers on Oxbow Lake with new Transport Canada approved regulated ones. These five yellow markers and the two large white markers meet the Transport Canada requirements for size, shape, colour and identification.
The lake markers will be removed mid October each year and replaced in the Spring, mid May, by volunteer members of your Association. The locations of the markers are as follows:
Please be aware that although an effort is being made by your Association to mark specific lake hazards, your Association is not responsible for ensuring all hazards are marked or continue to be marked. Ultimately, every individual operator of a watercraft is responsible for safe boating, including the avoidance of hazards.

- 1 - The large rock shoal on the West Arm
- 2 and 3 - The south and north ends of the NO WAKE zone in the Narrows
- 4 - Large rocks off the eastern tip of the peninsula
- 5, 6 and 7 - Three rock shoals on the East Arm
